Service status

Through these status notes we aim at keeping our customers informed of any performance issues that may be affecting the services we offer.

Main Telephone Number Fault - Thursday 28th March 2013 - 09:15am
We are currently experiencing a fault on our main 08452581500 telephone number. If you do need to contact us by phone please use 08452581504 or 08452581501.

FTTC & ADSL Broadband - Friday 4th January 2013 - 13:42pm
We are aware of some loss of connection at some customers, we are currently investigating and will update as soon as possible.

Mailsafe Email Filtering - Friday 2nd November 2012 - 09:26am
We are experiencing a high volume of e-mail which is causing some delays.

We are working to resolve the problem and will post here once this is resolved.

POP3 & IMAP Email - Wednesday 27th June 2012 - 10:59am
We are currently experiencing an issue with our POP3 and IMAP servers. Not all customers will be effected. We are working to resolve and will post here once working again.

We will be performing some essential maintenance tomorrow which could have an effect on some services.

We will ensure downtime is kept to a minimum and the work will be carried out between 6.30am and 7.30am

We are experiencing some problems with an array, as a precaution whilst we investigate we have taken one of our backup servers offline.

Mailsafe Email Filtering - Monday 20th February 2012 - 10:53am
Due to a configuration problem on a node in one of our mail scanning clusters over the weekend we have a backlog of email to be processed.

We anticipate the backlog to be cleared by 1:30pm

Any new incoming email is not affected and will be delivered immediately.

Due to a network issue in Data Centre 3 we are experiencing loss of service to the following:

POP / IMAP / Surfselect / Datahive / SMTP Outbound & Web Hosting services unreacheable - Friday 6th January 2012 - 16:25pm
Due to a network issue in Data Centre 2 we experienced a short term outage around 16:10pm which would of effected delivery of the following services to a small number of our customers:

POP / IMAP / Surfselect / Datahive / SMTP Outbound & Web Hosting.

We apologise for any inconvenience this caused.

We are pleased to advise that all services were restored a 16:23pm.


SMTP Outbound Email - Monday 7th November 2011 - 15:42pm
Due to an outbound spam email attack on part of our network, we have redirected all outbound email traffic to alternate network clusters.

As a result we have quarantined a batch of outbound mail which contains legitimate as well as spam emails. Our engineers are currently working to seperate the legitimate emails and will place them in the outbound queue for delivery as quick as possible.

Update (07/11/11 16:37pm) We can confirm that all the queues have now been cleansed and all legitimate email has been placed in the out queue for delivery.

Windows Web Hosting - Tuesday 25th October 2011 - 12:40pm
We are experiencing a network issue with our Windows hosting machines.
Engineers are working on this issue and hope to have resolved in under 15 minutes.

Update (25/10/11 13:01pm) The network issue has been resolved and all Windows Hosting Servers are fully operational.

We are having some network related issues with one of our POP and web hosting servers, the cause is being investigated.
